NORGLIDE® Metaloplast Bearings are flexible, maintenance-free and come with excellent sizing ability.
NORGLIDE® Metaloplast Bearings are maintenance free and comprise of a metal mesh support structure and a wear resistant compound. This compound material allows for excellent sizing and the design of pivot points with specific torque or eliminate play.
All materials provide excellent corrosion resistance and allow intelligent pairing with mating components to avoid galvanic corrosion.

NORGLIDE® MP is a maintenance-free bearing material with a woven metal fabric encapsulated in a wear-resistant compound which offers high-load capabilities. This combination of materials enables easy manual or automatic processing and installation.
The material allows excellent sizing so that an interference fit of the bearing to the shaft can be designed to produce required torques or eliminate play.
Standard Thicknesses [mm]: 0.48 | 0.78 | 0.98
NORGLIDE® MPSS can be adapted to many applications, including severe chemical environments. It’s simply NORGLIDE® MP with a stainless-steel fabric as mesh.
Standard Thicknesses [mm]: 0.48 | 0.78

NORGLIDE® SALC Bearings are maintenance free and comprise of a stretched Aluminium-Cladded-Steel support structure and a wear resistant PTFE compound. This compound material is particularly suitable for sizing and the design of pivot points with specific torque or to eliminate play.
Standard Thicknesses [mm]: 0.48
Stretched metals are available for a larger number of stainless-steel types. This gives more flexibility for our custom-designed bearings.
Standard Thicknesses [mm]: 0.48

Metal-backed NORGLIDE® Metaloplast with maintained sizing capability while applicable for higher loads.
NORGLIDE® Metal Backed Metaloplast uses a combination of material that improves load capacities while maintaining the characteristics of pure NORGLIDE® Metaloplast, especially its sizing capability. The bearings can be designed to be clearance free.
NORGLIDE® M is a composite material of NORGLIDE® MP Bearing tape and steel backing. This combination of material improves load capabilities while maintaining the characteristics of NORGLIDE® MP, especially its sizing capability.
The bearings can be designed without play. Bearings of 1 mm thickness or greater can be produced with an interference fit in the housing.
Various methods are available to protect the steel shell from corrosion.
Standard Thicknesses [mm]: 0.75 | 1.00 | 1.50

NORGLIDE® MSS is a composite material of NORGLIDE® MPSS and a stainless-steel backing that provides excellent sizing ability with high load capacity.
Standard Thicknesses [mm]: Standard Thicknesses [mm]: 1.57
The standard PTFE compound contains glass fibers and graphite. Special PTFE compounds are available on request. Fabricated parts include die-cuts, rolled cylinders, flanged cylinders and deep-drawn bearings. NORGLIDE® Metaloplast can be prepared for bonding (etched one side). It can be supported or backed with steel or plastics.
The metal fabric is available in either tin, bronze or stainless steel and the stretched metal is available in either stainless steel or aluminium-cladded steel.
